TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

His background matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That would be a good addition when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.

The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus terms, tabtrade is at TradeTheDay.
